海关提醒跨境出口商家，欧盟各国海关知识产权查验常态化，包裹外包装、产品本体印刷他人注册商标，无论售价高低，均会被扣押处罚。
Customs officials in Lille, northern France, seized 20,000 counterfeit international brand cosmetics products during an international parcel inspection. The products included foundation, lipstick, beauty blenders, and skincare sets. The packaging prominently displayed the registered trademarks of YSL, Lancôme, and BeautyBlender, but lacked any official brand authorization documents.
These goods were shipped by a Chinese cross-border e-commerce merchant to an independent seller on a French e-commerce platform, intended for low-price online sales. In accordance with EU trademark regulations, customs confiscated all the infringing goods and imposed an administrative fine of three times the value of the goods on the owner. Simultaneously, the merchant's information was shared with Amazon and TikTok Shop's European sites, resulting in the shops being restricted and banned.
Customs reminds cross-border exporters that intellectual property inspections are routine in EU countries. Parcels and products bearing others' registered trademarks, regardless of price, will be seized and penalized.
